This endoscopic treatment instrument is provided with: a clip unit provided with a clip main body, a restraining tube, a locking section, and a locked section; a sheath section; a linear member; a linking member; and a stopper section. The configuration is such that in the state of the clip main body being housed in the restraining tube in a manner such that the locked section is positioned at the tip side of the locking section, when the linear member is caused to protrude to the maximum amount of protrusion permitted by the stopper section, the linking member is positioned within the restraining tube, thus preventing the elimination of the linking to the clip, and in the state of the clip main body having been moved in a manner so that the locked section traverses the locking section and is positioned at the base end side, when the linear member is caused to protrude to the maximum amount of protrusion permitted by the stopper section, the linking member is positioned outside the restraining tube, thus enabling the elimination of the linking to the clip. |
