<p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a refractory material, and a refractory material. The present invention suggests a method of manufacturing a refractory material, which comprises the steps of: preparing carbon particulates coated with a coating film; mixing the carbon particulates having a coating film with a refractory raw material to manufacture a mixture; and manufacturing a formed body by forming the mixture, wherein the step of preparing the carbon particulates coated with a coating film comprises the step of: preparing a solution containing a metal material precursor, mixing the carbon particulates with the solution to form a metal precursor film on a surface of the mixture, and separating the carbon particulates having the metal precursor film from the solution and heating the separated carbon particulates, whereby a coating film is formed on the surface of each of the carbon particulates so that a refractory material having improved refractory characteristics, fracture strength, lift span can be manufactured, and a refractory material.</p> |
