<p>PURPOSE: An automatic scattering system and an operation method thereof are provided to prevent properties from being damaged and life from being lost by immediately dealing with heavy snow through analysis of image information and a sensor of a snowfall field. CONSTITUTION: An automatic scattering system includes a management server managing a deicing material scattering device. The management server includes a sensor and image information receiving unit (250), a weather information receiving unit (230), a scattering management unit (260), a scattering command receiving unit (240), and a mode setting unit (270). The sensor and image information receiving unit receives one among a sensor expressing a snowfall and image information from the sensor or a camera installed in the scattering device. The scattering management unit determines whether deicing materials are required for a region in which the scattering device is installed or not and supplies a scattering control signal to the scattering device by using the sensor, the image information, and received weather information.
