The invention relates to a forehead band (20) for attaching to a head band of an interior fitting assembly of a helmet. The forehead band comprises a strip-shaped support (30) which is provided with a holder (50) for removably fixing the forehead band (20) to the head band. The support (30) is covered with an overlay (40) on all sides, said overlay comprising a textile blank. The overlay (40) consists of a textile material which absorbs sweat. The holder (50) comprises tubular supporting connection pieces (51a - 51e) which are molded on the support on a support (30) rear face (34) which can be brought into contact with the head band. The supporting connection pieces (51a - 51e) are designed to engage into openings of the head band in a force-fitting or form-fitting manner. The overlay (40) has longitudinal edges (42a, 42b) which are waved in a complementary manner relative to one another and the wave crests of each of which is provided with an opening (44) for receiving one of the supporting connection pieces (51a - 51e). The overlay (40) can thus be snapped onto the support (30). The overlay (40) can be washed with the support (30) or without the support (30). |
