[Class 75 (iv)] Tubular electric discharge lamps 1, 1<1>, 2, which do not all emit light of the same colour are arranged parallel and adjacent to one another over a substantial part of their length, and at least one of them is enclosed in a substantially coaxial light-diffusing cylinder 3 of greater diameter. The tubes 1, 1<1> may be filled with neon and form two arms bf a single U-tube. The tube 2 may be filled with mercury vapour and argon, and be coated interiorly with willemite to emit green light. The tubes 1, 1<1>, 2 may be of transparent or opal glass. Dimensions are given. Specification 431,408 is referred to. |
