<p>The present invention relates to a steroid, in particular a progestin, comicronized with a polymer including one constitutional unit having the pyrrolidone group. The polymer is, in particular, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinylpolylpyrrolidone, poly(1-vinylpyrrolidone-co-vinyl acetate), and the mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition including said steroid, in particular a progestin, comicronized with said polymer, and to a method for comicronizing a steroid, in particular a progestin, with a polymer including a constitutional unit having the pyrrolidone group. The invention finally relates to the resulting micronized product or the composition for the use thereof in the treatment or prevention of a physiological condition associated with an insufficiency in the secretion of progesterone, testosterone, or DHEA, or other conditions that require treatment with a steroid, in particular a progestin.</p> |
