Disclosed are a terminal and an upgrade method thereof. An embedded Web server is built in the terminal, and a Web interface module for managing the upgrade is configured. The upgrade method of the terminal includes: when receiving an upgrade command, the Web interface module transmits a new version detection command to the Web server; according to the new version detection command, the Web server checks if there is a new version for the terminal; when the new version is detected, the Web server obtains a corresponding upgrade pack; after the upgrade pack is obtained successfully, the Web interface module transmits an upgrade command to the Web server; according to the upgrade command, the Web server upgrades the terminal. |
