摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a welding part and an inspection method thereof, capable of precisely inspecting welding state of a welding part of a work piece, in remote welding, for example, in which a laser torch is separated from a work piece for welding.SOLUTION: Laser light L1 for welding is radiated a plurality of times along welding loci C11, C12 set to work pieces W1, W2, otherwise, laser light L5 for inspection is radiated a plurality of times along scan loci C51, C52 set to a molten bath Y1 of the work pieces W1, W2 melted by the laser light L1 for welding. Return light L2 which contains reflection light from the molten bath Y1 of the work piece, evaporation emission generated by melting evaporation of the work piece, and heat radiation light radiated from the molten bath Y1 of the work piece, is photodetected. From the return light L2, a short wavelength component L2a containing evaporation emission and a long wavelength component L2b containing heat radiation light are extracted. Based on a ratio between intensity of the short wavelength component L2a and intensity of the long wavelength component L2b, welding state at the welding part of the work piece is inspected.
