<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sealing performance between a cylinder and a plunger, while obtaining high discharge pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of plunger pumps 1 and 3 are connected in series, so that discharge pressure is sequentially increased. A first plunger pump 1 is provided with a first plunger seal 20A which can seal discharge pressure P1 thereof. A second plunger pump 3 is provided with two stages of: a first plunger seal 40A which can seal the discharge pressure P1 of the first plunger pump 1; and a second plunger seal 40B which can seal differential pressure (P2-P1) between discharge pressure P2 of the second plunger pump 3 and the discharge pressure P1 of the first plunger pump 1. A discharge side of the first plunger pump 1 is connected to an intake side of the second plunger pump 3 through the first and second plunger seals 40 A and 40B of the second plunger pump 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
