<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill storage device capable of accumulating bills and storing them into a cash box while eliminating an expensive and large-capacity temporary reserving section to reduce its cost and size, but still realizing a function for temporarily reserving loaded bills. <P>SOLUTION: A bill storage device comprises: a temporary pool section 15 for storing conveyed bills until a specified number of the bills is reached; and a collection cashbox 20 for storing non-defective bills. When a payment mode is selected, for bills conveyed from a bill taking section 5, non-defective bills and defective bills are conveyed to the temporary pool section and a return section 13a, respectively. When a specified number of the bills stored in the temporary pool section is reached, it is repeated that the bills are conveyed collectively to the collection cashbox and stored therein. When all the bills placed in the bill taking section are conveyed, the bills stored in the temporary pool section are conveyed collectively to the collection cashbox and stored therein even when the specified number of the bills stored in the temporary pool section is not reached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
