CONNECTING COMPONENT WITH INSULATING LAYER FOR A SECONDARY BATTERY, AND SECONDARY BATTERY MODULE AND PACK COMPRISING THE SAME

A connecting component for a secondary battery according to the present invention is installed on a path of a current flowing through the secondary battery to electrically connect components in the secondary battery with each other and comprises: a first metal plate; a second metal plate positioned to be apart from the first metal plate with a gap between them; a soldering bridge which has a melting point lower than those of the first and second metal plates and fills in the gap; and an insulation layer which is formed on at least one side of both sides of the first and second metal plates to cover a region where the soldering bridge is formed. According to the invention, when an excessive current flows through the connecting component for a secondary battery, the region, where the soldering bridge is formed, is broken to quickly block the flow of the excessive current and also prevent secondary damage such as a short-circuiting due to sparks generated when components are broken.
