<p>Provided are a tower flange steel and a tower flange manufacturing method using the same to simplify the production process and achieve excellent strength and low temperature toughness. The tower flange manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of preparing steel made of 0.1-0.2% (all values by wt%) of C, 0.2-0.55% of Si, 0.85-1.75% of Mn, 0.03% or lower of P, 0.025% or lower of S, 0.05-0.35% of Cr, 0.01-0.5% of Ni, 0.01-0.13% of Mo, 0.01-0.6% of Cu, 0.002-0.14% of V, 0.01-0.015% of Al, 0.01-0.06% of Nb, 0.004-0.017% of N, and the rest consisting of Fe and other inevitable impurities; a step of hot forging the steel; a step of reheating the hot-forged steel; and a step of ring-milling the reheated steel at 900-1100°C.</p> |
