A film cartridge assembly and loading apparatus in which a scroll of film and paper backing are automatically taped to a spool and fitted into a suitable cartridge body and cover unit. The apparatus includes two principal assembly units; the first for pre-assemblying the cartridge body and cover and the second for inserting a scrolled film and paper spool into the cartridge and ultrasonically sealing the cartridge. A notcher, labeler and torque-testing apparatus are included as part of the present invention. |
