FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: effective amount of a chemotherapeutic agent and anti-VEGF antibodies (bevacizumab), wherein the agent represents either (a) capecitabine, (b) docetaxel or Abraxane, (c) or antracycline, and wherein the anti-VEGF antibody is administered at 15 mg/kg. No other chemotherapeutic agent has been administered into the individual for treating local recurrent or metastatic breast cancer, and/or the above individual has not undergone adjuvant pre-chemotherapy accompanying a recurrence for 12 months or less after the last dose administered.
