PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which can reliably maintain connection state with a simple structure even under such circumstances that vibration or the like is applied and dust or the like is not a few, and can smoothly perform connection and disconnection operation.SOLUTION: An elastic ring 11 is fit into one annular groove 3b formed on an outer circumferential surface of a socket 2, the other end part in the axial direction of a sleeve 4 located on a lock position is brought into contact with the elastic ring 11 to regulate movement of the sleeve 4 to a lock disconnection position and maintain connection of the socket 2 and a plug 9, at the same time, an annular seal member 9b arranged on the plug 9 is brought into contact with one end part in the axial direction of the sleeve 4, the elastic ring 11 is fit into the other annular groove 3a, thereby, movement regulation in the socket axial direction of the sleeve 4 is released, the sleeve 4 is moved to the lock disconnection position, and a lock ball 7 is disengaged from an engagement part 10 to release connection between the socket 2 and the plug 9. |
