<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of suppressing the outflow of ink in a device by manual operation, during a power failure.SOLUTION: A printer has an inkjet head 3, a pressurizing tank 5, a negative pressure tank 6, a circulation path 7a-c, a supply valve 13, a pressurizing atmosphere opening valve 19, a pressurizing atmosphere opening valve 22, a bellows pump 25 for generating negative pressure, a manual dial 35 for manually operating a bellows pump; and an interlocking mechanism 40 between the manual dial and each valve. During a power failure, if a user operates the manual dial so as to increase negative pressure by the bellows pump, the pressure of ink in the circulation path is lowered. In an interlocking manner, the supply valve and the pressurizing atmosphere opening valve are closed, and a negative pressure atmosphere opening valve is opened. The leakage of the ink from the head can be prevented.</p> |
