BATTERY UNIT AND BATTERY MODULE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit that is improved in assemblability of an electrode terminal and may reduce manufacturing costs, and a battery module using the battery unit.SOLUTION: A battery unit includes: a case accommodating an electrode assembly and having an opening; a cap plate closing the opening and having a terminal insertion portion vertically penetrating through the battery case; a terminal member having a coupling portion coupling a current collector and a terminal portion; and a fixing member located in the terminal insertion portion and fixing the terminal member to the cap plate. The current collector is inserted into the case through the terminal insertion portion, and electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The terminal portion is exposed at an outside of the cap plate and extended parallel to an upper surface of the cap plate. The fixing member is formed by injecting a resin into the terminal insertion portion in a state where the terminal member is inserted into the terminal insertion portion.
