PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image management system that can prompt a person in charge to deal with it if there is a missing part in image data.SOLUTION: An image management system 100 comprises: a monitoring camera 200 that records image data of a monitoring section; and a center device 300 that records the image data transferred from the monitoring camera 200. The monitoring camera 200 transmits information on image data managed as un-transferred data to the center device 300 at prescribed timing. The center device 300 monitors whether or not there is a missing part in the image data received from the monitoring camera 200, and if it is determined that there is a missing part, the center device 300 transmits missing abnormality information to different transmission destinations (appropriate transmission destinations) depending on whether or not abnormality in data communication has been determined for the monitoring camera 200 within a past prescribed time.
