<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanently held memorial service grave capable of storing much more remains by storing and installing a part of the remains in a container whose size is smaller than that of a cinerary urn in a fixed period, and enshrining the remains with an underground caroto. <P>SOLUTION: A permanently held memorial service grave for storing and holding a memorial service for a plurality of remains in a space of a predetermined capacity includes: an outer wall formed by piling up a predetermined number of rectangular wallstones having predetermined height for vertically enclosing the space; and a shelf board arranged at the junction of the mutual wallstones for horizontally parting the space, and the permanently held memorial service grave is characterized such that the shelf board has a plurality of dents where the containers of the remains are placed. Also, it is desired that the container has an external appearance of Buddhist statue, and has a hollow section in which a part of the purified remains of the deceased are stored.
