<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of maintenance management and minimize an influence on ecosystems. <P>SOLUTION: In the greening structure 1 using wood-chip concrete, a surface of ground 2 as a greening object is partially formed as an exposed area 5 in which the surface of the ground 2 is exposed; the rest of the surface of the ground 2 is formed as a covered area 4 which is covered with a wood-chip concrete plate 3 as a covering layer; and the wood-chip concrete plate 3 is disposed on the surface of the ground 2 in such a manner that the covered area 4 and the exposed one 5 are alternately arranged in a checkered pattern. In a cross-sectional structure of the wood-chip concrete plate 3 made of a single layer of the wood-chip concrete, the wood-chip concrete plate 3 itself serves as the covering layer; and a vegetation base material is not superposed thereon.
