The invention relates to a system comprising a rotary machine (1) comprising a plurality of blow moulding units (10), wherein preforms are fed from a transferring starwheel (130) which pitch is different from the pitch ofthe rotary machine (1), wherein the circumferences of the rotary machine (1) and the starwheel (130) are not tangent, wherein a gripping unit which is radially moveable, transfers the preforms radially in the moulding unit (10). The movement of the gripping unit is done by a pinion/rack arrangement.
