The present invention provides a method, apparatus and system for multicast service transfer between a fiber and a copper cable. The method for multicast service transfer between a fiber and a copper cable comprises: receiving a multicast protocol message transmitted by a branch node unit, fiber-side identification information and copper cable-side identification information being encapsulated in the multicast protocol message; establishing a multicast forwarding table according to the mapping relationship between the fiber-side identification information and the copper cable-side identification information; and transmitting the multicast forwarding table to the branch node unit to enable the branch node unit to duplicate and forward multicast service data according to the multicast forwarding table. By means of the present invention, the effect that efficient forwarding of the multicast service between the fiber and the copper cable is realized can be reached.
