<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Roots compressor capable of discharging water accumulated in a tip end in a major diameter direction of a rotor vane of a hollow portion from the hollow portion.SOLUTION: A Roots compressor 10 comprises: a drive shaft 23 and a driven shaft 31 serving as a pair of rotational shafts; a drive side rotor 13 and a driven side rotor 14 serving as a pair of rotors engaged with each other; and a housing including a rotor chamber 28 accommodating therein the drive side rotor 13 and the driven side rotor 14. The drive side rotor 13 includes: a plurality of vanes 48; a hollow portion 52 formed in at least one of the vanes 48; and a communication path 61 communicating the hollow portion 52 with the rotor chamber 28. The communication path 61 extends in a radial direction of the drive shaft 23 and is formed forward of a major diameter line ML of the drive side rotor 13 in a rotational direction of the drive side rotor 13.</p> |
