<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of increasing the temperature of a catalyst in a short time.SOLUTION: A housing 11 includes a bypass passage 11d. The bypass passage 11d is branched downward from an exhaust passage 11a located on an upstream side of a catalyst carrier 12 and is joined in the exhaust passage 11a located on a downstream side of the catalyst carrier 12. The bypass passage 11d includes a water-absorbing member 13 that absorbs water generated in the exhaust passage 11a located on the upstream side of the catalyst carrier 12.</p> |
