PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical detection method of a material to be inspected capable of securing a high detection accuracy of the same degree as the case where an electrolytic solution by a non-proton system solvent is used by employing a proton solvent without using a non-proton system solvent having a large environment load, and the electrolytic solution used for the method.SOLUTION: In a method for electrochemically detecting a material to be inspected contained in the specimen under the existence of an electrolytic solution using a work electrode and a counter electrode, the electrolytic solution containing a solution in which an imidazolium iodide compound is melt in pronto solvent is used. |
