PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring support system capable of easily and correctly evaluating a monitoring state of patrol by an observer in a monitoring target area.SOLUTION: A monitoring support system comprises: a visual field imaging camera 2 which sets a sight line direction of an observer, who monitors a monitoring target area, as an imaging direction; a gazing point calculation unit 3 which calculates a gazing point, which is a view point of the observer on an image captured by the visual field imaging camera 2, as position data on the captured image; a gazing point history data generation unit which generates gazing point history data indicating a transition history of the gazing point with the captured image and the gazing point being associated with each other; a data recording unit which records the captured image and the gazing point history data; and an image output unit which reads out, from the data recording unit, the captured images and the gazing point history data about the same monitoring target area on different dates and times so that the read out captured images and gazing point history data are image-synthesized to be outputted as a captured image attached with the gazing point history. |
