The present invention relates to a mobile terminal allowing an easy production of a video lecture using a plurality of three-dimensional (3D) layers with 3D depths in a virtual 3D stereoscopic space, and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a control unit; a memory; and a touch screen configured to display multiple 3D layers having 3D depths and arranged in a predetermined form in a virtual 3D stereoscopic space according to control of the control unit. Among the multiple 3D layers, a first layer outputs video information, a second layer outputs textbook information about the video information, and a third layer outputs note information, wherein the third layer is a transparent layer. The control unit controls the note information and first information related to the note information to be stored in the memory. The note information is created along playback time of the video information and the first information may include video time information of the point of time when the note information is created. |
