The invention relates to a constant velocity joint comprising: an outer joint part (12) with a longitudinal axis (L12) and first and second outer ball tracks (22A, 22B), wherein the outer joint part (12) comprises an attachment side and an aperture side; an inner joint part (13) with a longitudinal axis (L13) and first and second inner ball tracks (23A, 23B); a torque transmitting ball (14) in each pair of tracks (22A, 23A; 22B, 23B); a ball cage (15) with cage windows (18) in which the balls (14) are held, wherein in each angular position of the constant velocity joint (11) an opening angle δ is enclosed between an outer tangent T and an inner tangent T' at the ball (14), wherein at least one of the first and second pairs of tracks is designed such that, within a small articulation angle range comprising at least the joint central plane EM, at at least an articulation angle &bgr;, an opening angle δ amounts to zero, and within a greater articulation angle range, an aperture-side opening angle δ of a first pair of tracks (22A, 23A) widens in the opposite axial direction relative to the aperture-side opening angle δ of a second pair of tracks (22B, 23B). |
