The present invention relates to a bio-information measuring watch and a method for measuring bio-information. The bio-information measuring watch comprises: a watch module in a wrist watch form having, on one side, a device accommodating part equipped with a communication port thereinside; and a bio-information measuring sensor for transmitting biometric measurement data, obtained by measuring bio-information, to the communication port, the bio-information measuring sensor being connected to or disconnected from the device accommodating part and being connected to the communication port when connected to the device accommodating part, wherein the bio-information measuring sensor generates and transmits interrupt plug-in events to the watch module when connected to the communication port, and wherein the watch module counts the number of interrupts in the transmitted interrupt plug-in events, automatically recognizes a communication protocol supported by the bio-information measuring sensor according to the number of the interrupts, and dynamically activates a communication interface so as to correspond to the recognized communication protocol, thereby receiving the biometric measurement data from the bio-information measurement sensor. |
