[Problem] To provide a clutch that prevents clutch brake dampening, a punch for forming clutches, and technology for a manufacturing method for clutches. [Solution] A clutch having: an annular metal supporting part having a bottom, an inner circumferential wall perpendicular to the bottom, an outer circumferential wall perpendicular to the bottom and disposed on the outer side in the radial direction of the inner circumferential wall so as to have the same axis as the inner circumferential wall; an annular friction plate that is engaged between the inner circumferential wall and the outer circumferential wall and is supported on the bottom; and a crimping structure that anchors the friction plate to the metal supporting part by way of a plurality of first crimping portions that are provided in locations spaced substantially equally along the circumferential direction of the inner circumferential wall and hold the friction plate to the bottom, and a plurality of second crimping portions that are provided in locations spaced substantially equally along the circumferential direction of the outer circumferential wall and hold the friction plate to the bottom. The plurality of second crimping portions are formed in locations that do not overlap with the plurality of first crimping portions in the radial direction of the metal supporting part. |
