The objective of the present invention is to be able to apply an image processing to a radiation image such that an effect of removing scattered rays can be achieved in the same manner as when imaging is performed by using an actual grid. When applying a process for removing scattered rays that are included in radiation that has passed through a subject (M) to a radiation image imaged by irradiating the subject (M) with radiation, a characteristics acquisition unit (32) acquires virtual grid characteristics which are characteristics of a virtual grid that is expected to be used for removing the scattered rays when imaging the radiation image. A scattered ray removing unit (36) performs a scattered ray removal process of the radiation image on the basis of the virtual grid characteristics. |
