A wireless communication system in a dual frequency band of the present invention comprises: a storage unit for storing channel information on a TV white space usable in a service area; a channel information managing unit for transmitting the channel information on the TV white space usable by a wireless terminal to the wireless terminal in response to a service request for a channel use of the TV white space by the wireless terminal; and a machine type communication (MTC) server for setting a channel of the TV white space usable by the wireless terminal among the stored channel information on the TV white space, and transmitting the set channel information on the TV white space to the channel information managing unit, wherein the wireless terminal operates in an industrial scientific medical (ISM) band and a TV white space band.
