PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding assembly mountable on an automatic packaging machine in a simple and rapid manner.SOLUTION: A folding assembly (10)comprises a body (13) provided with a cone-sector surface (S) associated with a block (11), with a vertex (V) of the cone-sector surface arranged at an outlet end (12') of a rectilinear edge (12) of a continuous sheet (F) of packaging material provided with longitudinal creasing, the cone-sector surface, with a folding assembly in a mounting configuration on a packaging machine (100) taken into consideration, having a conicity converging towards an entrance end (102) of a sliding plane (101), and the cone-sector surface, with the folding assembly in the mounting configuration on the packaging machine taken into consideration, supporting a longitudinal flap (F1, F2) during the longitudinal creasing and accompanying the longitudinal flap during the folding along the longitudinal creasing. |
