COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND PATH INFORMATION CALCULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire information for grasping a communication path in a virtual network.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a configuration DB for storing configuration information showing a virtual network device connected to a physical port included by each of other virtual network devices; a flow table for specifying action with regards to communication traffic when a virtual network device receives the communication traffic; a table calculation unit which extracts a combination of a virtual network device and a physical port in action information from the flow table, retrieves another virtual network device connected to the physical port of the virtual network device from the configuration DB by using a result of the extraction as a retrieval key, and calculates a transmission source/transmission destination table for showing a combination between the two virtual network devices connected to each other on the basis of the retrieval key and a result of the retrieval; and a path information calculation unit for calculating a path between arbitrary two virtual network devices on the basis of the transmission source/transmission destination table.
