PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a periphery monitoring apparatus for a working machine, capable of allowing an operator of the working machine to intuitively acquire positions of persons existing around a working machine.SOLUTION: A periphery monitoring apparatus 100A comprises: person presence or absence determining means 12 for determining presence or absence of person in a plurality of monitoring spaces around a shovel 60; and alarm control means 13 installed in a cab 64 of the shovel 60 and for controlling a plurality of alarm output parts 7 for outputting alarm to an operator. The alarm control means 13 outputs the alarm from a right side alarm output part 7R when the person presence or absence determining means determines that a person exists in a right monitoring space ZR, outputs the alarm from a left side alarm output part 7L when the person presence or absence determining means determines that a person exists in a left side monitoring space ZL, and outputs the alarm from a rear side monitoring space 7B when the person presence or absence determining means determines that a person exists in a rear side monitoring space ZB. |
