A display substrate module and a method for manufacturing a display device using the same are provided to improve productivity of a flexible display device by using an in-line method to form the display device on one surface of a substrate such as a stainless steel substrate, transfer the substrate, form a protective member, and etch the other side of the substrate. A display substrate module(100) includes a carrier film(10), a display substrate(20), and a protection member(40). The carrier film is a flexible film. The carrier film includes synthetic resin having chemical resistance to FeCl3 etchant. The display substrate includes a substrate(24) and a display device. The substrate includes a metal material such as stainless steel etched by the etchant such as FeCl3. The protection member covers a periphery of the substrate, side surfaces of the substrate and the carrier film to prevent introduction of foreign substances between the substrate and the carrier film. |
