<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having activities for inhibiting prostaglandin production, and useful for antiinflammatory or amelioration of dermal inflammatory symptom due to pimple or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The prostaglandin E<SB POS="POST">2</SB>production inhibitor includes Rhododendron dauricum L. or an extract thereof as an active ingredient.
