<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which can prevent one's head from getting wet when inputting a detergent into a detergent case.SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: determining an amount of laundry inputted into a washing and dewatering tub 5 by a cloth amount determination means; displaying an amount of detergent according to the cloth amount determined on a display 30 of an operation display unit 29; and starting water supply through a water supply valve 18 after the elapse of a prescribed period of time. Thus, it is possible to input a detergent while preventing supplied water from being poured on a spoon and one's hand for inputting the detergent, when one intended to input the detergent by withdrawing a detergent case 19. Thus, it is possible to prevent a detergent from being wet and solidified when a wet spoon is returned into a detergent box.</p> |
