PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel arylamide derivative compound which have blocking activities of voltage gated sodium channels as the tetrodotoxin-sensitive (TTX-S) channels and is useful in treating pain.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented by formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (where X represents C or N; Rrepresents fluorinated methyl, fluorinated propyl, fluorinated ethylene ether, fluorinated propylene ether, or the like; Rrepresents H, halogen, hydroxyl or the like; and Rand Rrepresent H, or Calkyl, N, O, S, a ring formed by bonding to each other or the like).
