PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the accuracy of determination of similarity of waveforms.SOLUTION: A pulse wave detector 10 calculates a coefficient of correlation in which a value becomes smaller toward an increase in a difference between dispersion of an amplitude value within a first window and dispersion of an amplitude value within a second window, between a waveform of a signal included in the first window with a predetermined time width and a waveform of a signal included in the second window, compared with the waveform within the first window.
