PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel and electronic equipment capable of further increasing a viewing angle and displaying a preferable image in a wide angle range.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel is provided, which includes a first substrate, a second substrate disposed to oppose to the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate has a pixel substrate where a pixel electrode and a common electrode are laminated, a first alignment layer laminated on the liquid crystal layer side of the pixel substrate, and a first polarizing plate laminated on the liquid crystal layer side of the pixel substrate. The second substrate has a transparent substrate, a second alignment layer laminated on the liquid crystal layer side of the transparent substrate, a retardation plate laminated on the transparent substrate, and a second polarizing plate laminated on the transparent substrate. The first alignment layer and the second alignment layer have pretilt angles of 0 degree or larger and 1 degree or less. |
