PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password generation device which generates a password satisfying a requirement for a security measure and easily memorized by a user.SOLUTION: A password generation device 10 receives a password policy indicating a character type configuring the password, determines a conversion pattern to be used from among a plurality of conversion patterns on the basis of the received password policy, receives an input of a first character string, analyzes the received first character string, extracts a plurality of character groups to be converted, converts the extracted character groups to a second character string on the basis of the determined conversion pattern, and unites the converted second string to generate the password. |
