PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP cylinder that can be prevented from being destroyed by establishing long-term reliability of torsional strength to a torsional load acting on the FRP cylinder.SOLUTION: A simultaneously multi-layer-wound layer is positioned at least at an innermost layer of a plurality of FRP layers. The positions to begin winding a torsional rigidity-retaining prepreg and a buckling-preventing prepreg of a set prepreg composing the simultaneously multi-layer-wound layer at the innermost layer are offset each other so that the buckling-preventing prepreg is independently wound by at least 1 ply, and thereafter the torsional rigidity-retaining prepreg and the buckling-preventing prepreg are wound continuously by at least 2 plies while being overlapped each other.
