An air-conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to distribute the flow rate evenly by reducing the discharge temperature deviation of each compressor and to prevent overheating of the compressor. A control method of an air-conditioner includes a step of comparing the compressor discharge temperatures of a plurality of outdoor units(S3,S4), and a step of opening the hot gas valve of the outdoor unit with the lowest compressor discharge temperature and closing the others when the difference of compressor discharge temperature between the outdoor units are equal to or greater than a first set temperature(S5,S8). |
