<p>A transmission system includes a first active transmitter, a second active transmitter, a backup transmitter, a phase detector and a phase shift unit. The first active transmitter generates a first output signal. The second active transmitter generates a second output signal. The backup transmitter is provided as a backup for the first active transmitter and the second active transmitter, and generates a third output signal having a frequency and an output level equivalent to those of the first output signal or the second output signal. The phase detector detects a first phase difference that is a phase difference between the first output signal and the third output signal, and detects a second phase difference that is a phase difference between the second output signal and the third output signal. The phase shift unit obtains and records a first phase shift control value to eliminate the first phase difference, and obtains and records a second phase shift control value to eliminate the second phase difference.</p> |
