PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doze prevention method and a doze prevention device capable of detecting a state not yet but almost falling into a doze state, while inhibiting a false detection.SOLUTION: The doze prevention method includes: a measurement step of measuring heart beats of a person; a determination step (S4-S8) of outputting a trigger (hereinafter referred to as "a drowsiness trigger") representing an occurrence of the drowsiness, when a state continues where an adjacent time interval of the heat beats (hereinafter referred to as "a heartbeat interval") becomes wider than a heartbeat interval one beat before; and a warning step (S9) of issuing a warning for preventing the doze, when the drowsiness trigger is detected. |
