1. A method for reflecting Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) information between provider equipment (PE) nodes, comprising:
designating a node to operate as a Forwarding Equivalence Class (FEC) Reflector (FR) node; selecting a VPLS instance for concentration at said FR node; establishing a T-LDP session between said FR node and one or more PE nodes associated with said selected VPLS instance; wherein said PE nodes are adapted to exchange common VPLS information via said FR node.
