An apparatus (100) for detecting magnetic resonance signals from a target (320), comprises a magnetic resonance sensor (110) for responding to magnetic resonance signals from a target (320), and a shield member (130) electrically isolated from the magnetic resonance sensor (110), the shield member (130) being positioned relative to the magnetic resonance sensor (110)such that when the magnetic resonance sensor (110) faces the target(320), the shield member (130) is behind the magnetic resonance sensor (110) to at least partially shield the magnetic resonance sensor (110) from magnetically coupling with sources other than the magnetic resonance signals. |
