According to an embodiment of the present invention, an optical fiber is formed with a light leakage portion leaking light along the outer peripheral surface of the optical fiber in a direction crossing the length direction of the optical fiber, wherein the formation depth of the light leakage portion is formed deeper than the thickness of cladding of the optical fiber. Therefore, the conventional optical fiber only provides a technology of transferring light 100% by preventing the light from being leaked to the outside to the utmost with the internal (core) of the optical fiber from one end of the optical fiber to the other thereof as a transmission path. The present invention can determine a rate of which the light is transmitted from the one end of the optical fiber to the other end thereof, thus, a light transmission rate, by forming the formation depth of the light leakage portion to selectively leak the light along the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber intentionally. |
