摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically restoring a breakdown of a serial battery pack for a vehicle using a reset circuit. The apparatus includes: a plurality of battery cells connected to each other in series; a plurality of relay circuits having a structure in which relays individually connected to the battery cells, electric power of the battery cells is applied through an a contact connection, electric power of the battery cells is excluded through connection of a b contact during a breakdown or a low voltage of a battery cell and connected to each other in series and connected to an external load; and a reset circuit in which the relay circuits are connected to the battery cells by selectively switching the relay circuits to operate the relay circuits wen battery power supplied to the external load is interrupted while one of the battery cells is in an open cell state. In operations of the relay circuits through the reset circuit, connection of the a contact is maintained when the battery cells are normally operated, and the contact connection of a battery cell in an open cell state or a low voltage state is automatically changed to the b contact when at least one of the battery cells is in an open cell state or a low voltage state. The apparatus for automatically restoring a serial battery pack for a vehicle according to the present invention automatically prevents interruption of electric power for driving a motor of an electric vehicle due to a breakdown of any one battery cell which may be generated in various environments and conditions so that electric power does not need to be restored through a procedure of eliminating the battery cell of which a battery management system (BMS) for managing the battery system after supply of electric power is interrupted.
